Rebo privacy policy

Last updated:

Rebo is an Android game made by Rodrigo Braz in Portugal. This policy covers the app with the package name com.rfsbraz.rebo.

In short

Ads

Rebo includes Google AdMob (the Google Mobile Ads SDK, version 25.5.0) to show rewarded ads. Rebo shows no banner ads and no ads that open on their own. A rewarded ad plays only when you choose to watch it for a reward, such as doubling the coins at the end of a run. If you skip the ad or it does not load, you get no reward and lose nothing.

When the app starts and when an ad is loaded or shown, Google may collect and process:

Google uses this data to show ads, measure them, limit how often you see the same ad and prevent fraud. If you agree, Google may also use it to personalise ads. This data goes to Google, not to us, and we cannot see it. Google explains how it uses data from apps that use its services in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services, and handles it under the Google Privacy Policy.

Your consent and how to change it

Rebo includes Google's User Messaging Platform (version 4.0.0). In the European Economic Area, the UK, Switzerland and other places where the law requires it, it shows Google's consent form the first time you open the game, before any ad is requested. You can accept or refuse there. If you refuse, Google may still show ads that are not personalised, which still use some data, such as the IP address, to show the ad and prevent fraud.

You can change or withdraw your choice at any time in the game. Rebo has no words on screen, so look for the icons: on the home screen, tap the settings button at the top right. In the card that opens, the row with the shield icon has a button on the right. Tap it to open Google's privacy options form, where you can change your choice. This row is there wherever Google's consent form applies, and is not shown anywhere else.

If the form does not open, you can also reset your choice by clearing Rebo's storage in Android settings (Settings, Apps, Rebo, Storage, Clear storage), and the consent form shows again the next time you open the game. Clearing storage also deletes your game progress. You can also write to us.

You can reset or delete your device's advertising ID, or opt out of personalised ads, in your device settings. On recent Android versions this is under Settings, Privacy, Ads. On older versions it is under Settings, Google, Ads. Google's advertising ID help page has more detail.

Permissions

Rebo only has the permissions that ads need. Android grants all of them without asking:

Rebo has no access to your location, contacts, camera, microphone, photos or files.

What stays on the device

Your coins, upgrades, best depth and settings stay on this device. Rebo does not send them anywhere, and they are not included in Android backups. Uninstalling the app deletes them.

Age

Rebo is meant for people aged 13 and over. It is not made for children and is not part of the Google Play Families program. We do not knowingly let children under 13 use it.

Your rights

We hold no data about you, so we have nothing to access, correct or delete. For data that Google holds, the Google Privacy Policy explains how to see and delete it. If you have a question, write to us.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date at the top.
